I quite liked the one in Manchester as the memorabilia is all Mancunian and it was nice to be reminded of some of the great bands out of there and listen to a few old tunes of theirs! I used to have Barclay James Harvest albums and now they are on the wall in there! 55555

Smiths, Stone Roses, Joy Division, Oasis, Star Sailor, The Verve, Buzzc0cks, Happy Mondays, 10cc, Inspiral Carpets.............Not to mention Take That, The Bee Gees and Simply Red! Cough! I said not to mention........55555

I believe the Casino upstairs has closed though. Which suits me, as my now adult kids wanted me to take them in there again next time over. Cost me a bloody fortune last time in there! The ATM in there is next to a pair of Kate Bush's Knickers with what looked like a bit of 'bush' still attached...........You can't miss 'em!

Don't they drive on the right (your wrong) side of the road in all sois (check Sainamyen, Bangla) between beach road and Rat u thit? akes it easier/more logic with the one way traffic on both main roads.

Its the idiotic implementation of the one way, so that to keep traffic flow and stop all the 'two way connecting streets' traffic crossing at the entrances and exits they have reversed traffic flows..

Local word is JC paid the town governance millions to direct the flow of traffic that way so it enforced going past the front of JC, personally I doubt this as surely any one way circuit has equal traffic on both sides of the circle ??

Although to be fair, they have just opened and the prices are considerably more than I remember the HR in KL/Malaysia being, so we can't sit here saying it's worth it because someone is willing to pay for it.

It's more expensive than I remember TGI's being in the UK and that was probably the dearest meal out I went for on any sort of regular basis. Now the UK is or at least used to be seen as an expensive place to eat out at.

It would be the most expensive burger I have ever eaten, which would be OK to me if it really ranked up there.

However it's most likely to be price gauging like tuk-tuks, you coudl adjust all of the arguments here about burger prices to tuk-tuks. Is it worth 100-200 baht to go a few hundred meters down the road, it depends.... but it's certainly not good value.

No I haven't. Although I can say that I have had burgers at other Hard Rocks around the globe...They were great...but not nearly as expensive as they are here

Only place I know where by law you have to switch from driving on one side of the road to the other. Saw someone turn in on the wrong side a few days ago and almost take out a tuktuk.

Thats about where I am.. I am not saying I would boycott, or wont eat there.. But I do think at nearly GBP 15 quid or 20 USD it would be my most expensive burger also.

Now if that was in Tokyo I could sorta understand it.. But in the 3rd world ??
