Has anyone bought sheets from IKEA?

I was thinking of stocking up on my sheets, and they run someting like $2.99 a sheet.  I am wondering if anyone uses them? and if the quality is worth it.  But you can't beat it at that price!  I have been going to an outlet store that has slightly irregulars and buying them for $4.50 a piece but $2.99 is a much better price!

I buy almost all flat sheets and use the big rubber bands, that way I never have to think about matching.

What are big rubberbands?  I think they must be a US thing.  Are they just big rubber bands that go over the sheet and hold onto the legs of the table?

Yes, I have bought the "cheap" sheets from IKEA and they are wonderful!  I washed them with Gain and bleach (because I only use the white ones) and from the first day, I've had compliments on how nice they feel and how great they smell.  I used them when I was in massage school and my instructors used to love to get on my table just to inhale the scent.  I also bought IKEA's polarfleece throws for my table because they are the perfect size (you don't have to use two of them), wash well and look good.  Clients have told me they prefer the polarfleece because it's warm but not heavy.  I also made a couple of polarfleece blankets out of the heavy polarfleece.  It was much cheaper to buy the IKEA ones.

I was just looking at Ikea's sheets. Thanks for the input! We currently use a washing service at my work but we are always low on sheets it seems. So I will be suggesting these to my boss. It can't hurt to have a few sets on hand.

Work aside, I have a 3 and 4 year old at home. Lots of laundry to do from potty training. Can't have too many sheets sometimes! LOL :shock: :roll:

I have to admit, I don't know what "big rubber bands" she's talking about either. Or where she would get them.

Most massage resource stores sell them. I'm not sure about online. Here's a link where I know you can get them, they are local to me, great shop.

They are just a really huge rubber band. Fits all the way around the table and pins the sheets in place. They won't work if you use a pedestal table, but if your table has 4 legs, it's great.

Oh goodie! I just bought 2 pair of IKEA sheets & look forward to using them. GREAT PRICE!

The samples they had at the store seemed pretty soft for a 180 thread count.
