Hi Soar
As a fellow sufferer, Reflexology has been a big help, its partly what led me to becoming a reflexologist. I feel much better when having regular reflexology, I dont seem to be so tired. Although I hurt a bit at the mo, my energy levels are fairly good. Massage can help a lot too, easing aching muscles.
Gentle Indian Head Masssage is very beneficial. Although at times I need reflexology most for relief. It works in several different ways. I find my feet are fairly tender when having a bad spell, and the tone is similar to M.E. sufferers.
Acupressure is a big help, pressing the tender points takes the sting away. You can buy books with very good diagrams, Ive got one by Michael Reed Gache, called Acupressures Potent Points, a guide to self-care for common ailments, its very good for all sorts of things. Jacqueling Young also has some excellent books.
Andrews post on the health dicussion sections is very good, and the laying on the floor one definitely helps thoracic pain.
Another thing that helps my energy levels is making sure I'm drinking plenty of mineral water.
If you cant get reflexology for any reason, try a foot spa and rubbing your foot on a tennis ball and press your own TP's.
I have a couple of friends that I swop treatments with and my husband often rubs my feet for me in the evening, bless him
Have a look on the HP directory or do a search with your area for a local practitioner. make sure they are properly qualified and have a chat with them. I often do discounts for chronic cases, as they need prolonged regular treatment.
Hope you feel better soon
Be interested in any tips you have too, please.
