Has anyone tried acupuncture?

I'm curious about trying an acupuncture treatment, just wondering if anyone here has done it, and if so what results did it have for you? Also, if anyone could recommend a therapist for it (Chinese trained female preferred) that would be great.

I did have it and it was very successful on my sore neck and lower back. I had it done by my chiropractor - he tried different approaches to my issues. It did help a lot!
PS. No happy ending there buddy! Pure therapeutic , lol!

The acupuncture field is mostly dominated by men though. The treatment works really well IF you want to consider it as a complement to your existing treatment for whatever ailments you are suffering from.
I tried it and worked really well. If you can tolerant mosquito bites feelings, you can certainly take this level of discomfort when the needle goes in you.
Disclaimer: The acupuncture methods, just like modern medicine, gets new discoveries too. Your practitioner must also be upgrading his education and practice these new methods. If your acupuncturist does not practice new methods, I'm afraid you got an outdated one. Move on.....

Oh what a coincidence! I was just going to ask the board the same question! I am going to try a South location tmr but I remember going to Bethune? On parson street. Was ok but not sure because these things take more than a treatment to work.
