Single mom, dreaming big, Ashlee Hatch is one of the first massage therapists to have a mobile massage studio. This Oxford native is making a living doing what she loves to do– travelling and meeting new people.
“I have searched everywhere, and the Country Road Massage is the first of its kind,” Hatch said of her mobile massage studio.
Her custom contracted trailer built by Logan Coach, is equipped with a massage studio and live-in quarters. The custom trailer was finished last week.
“It was time I did what I wanted to do,” she said. “I grew up an athlete, now I am being booked for rodeos and athletic events and I love it.”
Her business has seen success in the short amount of time it has been open. Booked on weekends up until September she will be travelling all over Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana for events.
Hatch said she loves being a mobile massage therapist because she gets to be her own boss and she gets to witness a diverse range of people.
“I see something different every day, and I get to meet new people from different backgrounds and cultures,” she said.
Darin Coats, one of Hatch’s clients for three months, said he was looking for a massage therapist that would come to his home and he loves that Hatch always works him into her schedule.
“I will absolutely be staying with Ashlee as my massage therapist,” Coats said. “She comes to my house in Smithfield, which is great because I don’t like having to drive home after I get a massage.”
