Have any info. on selling Herbs and Supplements

Hello everyone. I am a Massage Student and will be graduating
in May. I also will be opening my own practice and I have had numerous people asking me if I will be selling any herbs or supplements.
There are a lot of people in my area who believe the natural way is the best way. What would I have to do to be able to sell these products or where can I find this information. Do you have to go through courses in order to be able to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Selling stuff can be tricky. There are a few important things that come to mind.

1. Not everyone has the seller personality.
2. Dont be alarmed if you stuff sits on the shelf for a long time.
3. You need to display your products correctly.
4. Sell stuff that you like, use, and can personally endorse. (because you may be stuck with it!)
5. Sell stuff relavant to your practice.

I think number three is most important. If you are a one room type therapist and must display your products in the treatment room, you may not sell as much stuff. People dont want to be bombarded with buying stuff when they are getting a massage. I have been in this situation.

As for selling supliments, some people feel it is prescribing, and MT's arent supposed to do that.
