Have you had a pitbull and than introduced a new dog into the home?

This is not a pitbull bashing question. I am seriously considering adopting a 7 month dog, I have two dogs and two cats, and I am just trying to get myself more informed. It is bog decision, so I am trying to understand as much as I can.

Have you had a pit and than got a new dog? how have to trained your pit?

The first thing I would do is take your Pit to the shelter and introduce him to the dog you are thinking about adopting. If the two get along, great, but if either dog is aggressive, your Pit takes priority and don't adopt that particular dog.

yes we actually got a pit and brought it into a home of 4 different dogs a wolf mix a doberman and another mix that just made some of the dogs uneasy but my smaller dog loved the pit her names Jada and they roll around and play alot but sometimes u have to watch when the smaller dog gets into a bad mood also have separate food dishes cause that caused alot of problems as well like Jada was never aloud to touch Mitty(wolf) and cali(small dog) food cause mitty would hover over the food all day so the pit couldn't eat just keep things separate like kennels food water it helps n they should be happy n it really all depends on the dog

it won't work very well they're very mean (i don't hold it against them they've been bred for years to kill everything in sight even if yours isn't from a place like that they still have it in them) sorry but you should consider getting rid of the pit bull look at the link below
