"hawaiian" or "island" massage music?

Can anyone recommend any good hawaiian or island sounding massage music? Something that doesn't have a lot of bird noises in it?

I like Kohala. That's the name of the group, and they play Hawaiian Guitar. Very peaceful & beautiful. They're available through iTunes, where you can listen to a music clip to see if you like it.

It's not Hawaiian, but Govi always takes me to the beach. Sort of a Flamenco, Caribbean, tropical kind of feel.

Go to Target, they have a new LifeScapes: The World Traveler CD series, named Hawaiian Breeze at their relaxation music kiosk that is beautiful, my whole family loves it. I think because I currently have 3 nephews and a niece-in-law on Maui (and the CD was recorded there), it just makes you feel "Closer" to them somehow... *sigh*
Can't afford to go out and visit them this year... *shrug* Maybe next year!

Thanks for all of the threads that have led me to them! I placed them into lengthy Pandora mix, to get an idea and I absolutely love this group for their easy listening qualities.

I wouldn't exactly call them "hawaiian" in the sense people think of with Hawaiian music; Amazon says it best: "gentle jazz arrangements for acoustic and classical guitars. Kohala's fresh musical style reflects the exotic pristine beauty of a tropical paradise."

Yep, I got Kohala's "Island Treasures" album via iTunes, and I love it!

One of my other favorites, though I would not call it traditional Hawaiian music either, is an album called "Haleakala" by Jeff Peterson & Riley Lee. I find no matter the weather, it makes me feel like a sunny day full of warm breezes!

I just added Kohala to my Pandora stations because of this thread - wow, beautiful! I had never heard them before, thanks for the suggestion. Now I have a beautiful new massage music station!
