Head Rest Support

I was working at the AMTA convention this past week helping out my teacher with his product, the Head Rest Support (http://www.headrestsupport.com/index.html).

He actually demo'd the product on me for a potential client (this was my first introduction to the product) and it was awesome! My clients have been loving it too.

I thought I would just share it with you guys since some of you probably do a lot of neck work and may see the value in this. Not only from the standpoint that you can do better work for the client, but from the standpoint that it can help you save your wrists.

I'm interested in this. But I don't quite see how it would change how I normally work (except the part about bringing the neck into extension and flexion. I can see that). Their head is still laying on a surface. If anything now it looks like the table isn't there to support my hands. I'm sure I'm just not seeing it properly, but can you explain any better how this works? I wish they had a picture with someone lying there receiving work.

yea. the website doesn't really show it very well. i think he is working on getting a video demo up.

right, their head is still lying on something. But, there is a large gap between the end of the table and the head rest support (where the back of their head goes) which allows you to get your entire hand underneath without having to lift up their head with your non-working hand.

hopefully he will have a video demo up soon.
