All is great here on the lower north shore Quebec. Just got back from snowmobiling. lots of snow here three feet or more.
Ice fishing tomorrow.

Joy is on vacation from SRM this week. She is the manager/part time attendant who makes that place a joy to visit. ppp (pun purposefully planted). She is obviously having a good time without us but can't leave work behind. Have a great time Joy! You deserve every minute of it.

I know that we all have to put in five messages a month, but that rule leads to this sort of "inside" correspondence, which doesn't mean much to anyone except two or three people.

Oh well. Yes, it is cold. Yes, snowmobiling is a dangrous sport designed so that people may run into trees, break their necks, and make a dreadful racket in the winter country silence...

When I see the word the "joy", I think of that phrase. It is from an album my mother had, produced by a group of singing nuns. Silly. But I thought I would share that with you all.


Just wanted to update so there is no confusion: "joyyyyy" and its comparison to rain is good thing. These nuns were a happy bunch.

No, "silly" is thinking of the juvenille rendition of Jacks' "Seasons in the Sun" that always pops into my head.... I would share the chorus, but it would incorrectly suggest that the lady and I had a history in amateur proctology....

While not to that particular end (no pun intended), she seems like a lovely lady whom I would very much like to meet one day....
