Perhaps Lexibelle could book a hotel room for the Reviewiday / saturday night in the city, and use the room for incalls... I bet this would suit a lot more guys, rather than outcalls ???? Any thoughts?

....and already she's getting "business advice" lol.

I'm sure she is doing what suits her and will get her the business she wants . I know I get people all the time telling me where I should work Reviewom and who I should work with but hey, I do what works for me where it works for me because only I know my business and what I'm prepared to put into it and where I want it to go

I can only imagine what its like to come into this kind of business but, of course, being here means that I'm sure Lexi has had some fantastic advice and knows what she's doing right now 8)

I do agree with you about the need to not thrust 'what you should be doing' style advice to a new WL - my personal hate is for people who write on a forum, to a WL who's been working less than a week, "Are you going to tour Sydney???" - but I do have to take issue with something you wrote (this is NOT a flame).

UNfortunately that's what the problem is. If the cost of the hotel room gets 'privatised' i.e. falls on the mp.net, then the effective cost of the WL shoots up by AT LEAST $54, which is the cost of the cheapest room whenever I've tried booking a room to see a WL in.

Now I haven't actually read LexiBelle's profile - my laptop only allows me to see the pics and reviews on profiles for some reason - so I don't know her prices or what her take on the industry is or anything like that. So this shouldn't be seen as knocking her either - but if she's only going to see clients at their hotel rooms, not even private homes, then I am almost certainly never going to see her.

Because when I HAVE tried booking hotel rooms to see a WL, even beside the extra cost factor, there have been other things happen that piss me off. Like WLs who don't turn up or bother to call to say they're standing you up. Or ones who hear which hotel you're at and get sniffy and "Oh, that's not very high class is it?"

NOT that I'm saying LexiBelle would do such things, but they're memories that really don't make me keen to call a hotel and make a booking... at least when you get stood up on an outcall at home you haven't forked out extra money which becomes a total waste.

So I'm sorry Arbie, but I really disagree with your suggestion.

I guess it is kinda like one of the ladies being in a suburb that is further away Reviewom everyone else. It's an "owell" situation! (ie - "owell can't see her who's next?) and then (hopefully!!!!) wish her the best for what she's doing and maybe you'll see her at the xmas party or something. 8)

It's like me not teaching adults. I have had adults call who haven't quite read the ad properly, I have a great conversation with them even mpter I've told them I won't teach them, I refer them to someone who can help them out (obviously not something that can be done with WL's - in QLD anyway), and then they say "owell it's a shame you can't teach me, let me know if you do start teaching adults" and they give me their number for future reference and that's that.

I'm sure all of us wish Lexi the absoloute best with her business and I have the advaneforum.xxxe of knowing how much her phone was ringing within about 5 minutes of those amazing pics going up on her profile lol. Nikki does a fine job with the photos that's for sure. And I'm certain if business doesn't boom, Lexi being the intelligent woman she is will be sure to examine some alternatives.

Hiring hotel rooms...

I did that for about 2 years, a couple of days a week. I must say I got BIG tax returns in those days coz my expenses were soooo high.

I know u read now and again of wl's not showing up but I have found that quite a lot of clients don't show and thatd emand for services is not high on Reviewi and sat nights Reviewom web sites (generally speaking) as most clients seem to be married with families. That's why so many wls work days - that's where demand mainly is.

I know this coz I kept my work phone for a year without turning it off to find out patterns of demand. There is some demand very late in the evening mostly Reviewom drunks and while I know ladies who stay up til all hrs, i used to go to bed around 8.00 on Reviewi and sat nites and pick up hotel trade between around 6.00 am til 9.00 am sat and sun mornings.

Hotels r expensive and mpter wl expenses generally, you'd need to see a few to make it worthwhile. One or 2 clients just covers yr costs.

I found it worthwhile only where guys book in advance. and here lies the problem!! Most guys (except yr regs) don't book in advance.

It's no different to getting haircuts or plumbing services, working people always welcome customers seeking appts but they may not be able to see u on short notice.

A tip tho: I think the request Reviewom Cosmo was a good idea - another thing to do might be to suss out a few ladies in advance to find out any who work say 1 or 2 nites a week - that way u have a smaller list to ring and are more likely to find someone.
