I'm 14 and been playing soccer all my life. Not to brag about myself but I have HUGE muscels I think sometimes theretoo bigs and my legs are huge, ever since 5th grade I've had chronic knee pain. I've been to all the doctors an they can't find anything wrong but over use. When my high school season started I saw our trainer and she began to do a deep tissue massage. It hurt like hell and bruised and swelled but after a couple times it actually began to feel better and not as much pain! Then high school ended and ago did the massages an then my premier club began and the pain in my ITBAND( should of told you thats where the pain is hahha) now I was thinking of asking my mom to bring me back to my PT. so he can do it too me. What's your opinion? Does it seem good? What do these massages do? I'm extremely active I have practice everyday and 3 games on the weekend? Is it worth my time?! Thanks in advanced!
