Help - I'm falling in love with a woman who was introduced to a good friend of mine?

Hi,
I am having a difficult dilemma. I'm falling in love with a woman who was introduced to a very good friend of mine. She is not interested in him and she told him that. they are still in touch and we all go out sometimes. Unfortunately, it affected him as he really likes her and she dumped him. (He told me all that) Here is my Big dilemma - I think she might be interested in me but it feels like we both don’t know how to proceed (we did not even talk about it or something just my feeling)
How should I proceed? tell my friend about it OR just try with her first to check if she is even interested in me?
Ethically, on one hand if she is not interested in my friend then why can't I be with her. I mean I'm not taking her from him or something. On the other hand, he is a very good friend of mine and I'm afraid to lose him if he gets jealous or angry.
Can I still be a good friend of his even if I start going out with her!?
What would you do?

Think about if u rly like this woman, and if she likes u bac she would hve given u some hints or clues. Its possible tht ur friend might get alittle jealous if he still likes her too, but she doesnt like him in tht way. Like u said ur not taking any1 from sum1 else.

Think about it this way, over some time, ur friend will get over her, and find some1 else. If this woman does like u, and u miss ur chance, it will be too late. Ur friend would hve moved on, and u wouldnt hve gone out with some1 u rly liked.

If she does like u, and wants to continue in a relationship with u, its best to inform ur friend slightly, but right away. Dont w8 for him to find out from some1 else.
