Help me, my boyfriend doesn't want to introduce me to his family or friends?

Hi,

Every time I call my boyfriend and there's someone around, he speaks coldly towards me, sounds annoyed, pretends we have nothing in common.

I'm not a big shot in life (hopefully just yet) - full time student, 3,5 years left, live in a lousy dorm, have a minimum wage dead-end job. So maybe he is embarrassed of me? His family are all quite successful.

Feel so sad, anyone has some advice for me?

You cant help your status....Sounds like to me he is a jerk if he is doing it for that reason..because if something did become of the relationship money would always be a problem, moreso than what it is in any relationship...Talk to him about it....THe main thing here is to ask..how long have you been dating? only a few weeks or so..give it time...maybe some things he needs to work out wiht his folks...a long while? somethings up...might not be you..he might be embarrassed of his parents...SO TALK! its the best medicine in a relationship...If you find out he is being a jerk...just pop up at parents house one day...or call momma and invite to dinner....if you dont want the drama...break it off..
