help needed - HKG-MACAU-PHILIPPINES

Hi I'll be travelling to HKG in March where i will stay for 2-3 nights then one night in Macau and then few nights in Manila, Boracay, Cebu, Bohol, Angeles.

Any advice on hotels close to action.

For close to the action in Hong Kong, I suggest any hotel in your budget in Wanchai or Tsim Sha Tsui.

On my last HKG visit I stayed in Wanchai, in this hotel:

Great location, GF, but very small rooms. Plenty of action within walking distance.

For in Manila, some hotels that are nice yet you can mpford are Lotus Garden, City State Tower and the newly built hotel Gran Prix- small but clean.They are all located at Mabini Street, Ermita Manila. Close to bars and mall,hospital and souvenir shops, very accessible for a taxi going to the airport which is about 20mins away.

For Macau - your best off at Hard Rock Hotel at City of Deam in Taipa. They have good rates and its only a 5 min 40 HKD fare with taxi across the bridge. All the real action is over in Macau with the following drinking holes recommended since your there for only 1 night - Lions Bar (MGM), Moonwalker/MP3 just outside MGM, and to finish off your evening D2 and Cubic at AMI Building.
You could stay at the Holiday Inn or Landmark Hotel in Macau but probably avoid the MGM, WYNN or Sands rooms unless you like to pay a little extra.
