help on Reflexology please

Hi there,

I have a question please...i am studying acupressure and the question on the paper is
" If reflexology depends on a dynamic reflex what would you expect to happen if there is an injury to the foot?"

I have said that the hand will hurt ?? can you help please as i am sure i am wrong

In reflexology we are healing the person usually through the feet, so if the foot is hurt, the corresponding part of the body will react too (in a not-so-healing way).
Example: stubbed big toe - person walks differently which results in spinal/nerve misaligments putting abnormal streeses on the muscular system (especially upper body). Final result -a headache.
Now think laterally......
Perhap the opposite could happen as the best cure for a headache is to drop the iron on your foot - soon diverts attention from the head pain! (Advice - don't try this at home).
Of course humour is one of the best 'cures'.
