Before that, happy to have you aboard, hope there's lotsa reviews in you. Now the advice: Read those Stickies atop the various Forums; there's lots of info there and it may save you from looking too foolish. Check out the topics in the Lounge if you want to get your post count up painlessly.

Now, learn to use the |Search| at the top of every page, don't be frightened by Advance Search, it's better. You'll get about 5 pages of posts from "downtown". It's well worth scanning about a half dozen pages back in the Forum of interest, just to scope the titles. Search can't find it if the poster didn't use the word you searched on, but you can.

And the gist of all that searching is "not too good", I'm afraid. Gemini on Danforth E of Pape and Green Health at Duff and Eg are the two I can speak of; neither is outstanding, though the former can have some talent working on a given day and the latter's never pricey.

My recco for a city boy is go north: Body and Soul[1], Blue Pearl[2] both a short walk from Yorkdale, and Platinum[3] on Sheppard btwn Keele and Duff are all trying to meet a high standard. You can get farther than you think by TTC (try TTC*, you won't be the first to ask any question here) so if what you read about the above places doesn't excite you, search on.
