Hi
I am hoping someone can tell me if I am on the right lines in understanding the various meridians found on the feet.
As an example I had a case study who had painful knees so after a full reflexology treatment I concentrated on the direct knee reflex. The pain relief was almost instant but returned after about an hour. On our next session I gave a full treatment and then concentrated on the pancreas and stomach reflex as this is, I believe, the path of the meridian which also goes through the knee reflex. This time the pain relief was more prolonged and only returned slightly after a week.
My question is am I correct in likening a meridian to a hose pipe in that if there were a series of knots in the hose pipe and I untied one knot then water would flow but not very efficiently until all the knots were untied. So by looking at where the path of the meridian is I could manipulate an area further along the channel to ensure unheaded energy flow. Of course I realise that the blockage could be in multiple places along a meridian line.
Sorry for waffling on a bit but if anyone can make sense of what Im trying to say and work out whether I am right or not I would appreciate comments.
Many thanks
Tony
