Totally agree with the simple formula. But the "real owners" behind the scene must be interested in actually running a successful long term business. Unfortunately some of these businesses are just money laundering operations, no fault of the masseuses. If the real owners are building a real business then they will ensure that the masseuses are earning at least 35% to 55% of the hourly rate (based on skills and length of tenure) and not just dependent on tips. If its a 'tips only' operation, the permits should be yanked and the managers (and owners... most likely untraceable as they are triad or other gang related) booked for running a bawdy house. True massage business owners would be hiring and training staff, and checking in on client feedback. As clients, we need to have zero tolerance for poor service. And if you know that the masseuse is working for tips only, do not patronize that location, period. It's most likely human trafficking. Show some courage and call in law enforcement.
