I like the new website. I find it faster and more user friendly (all of the pics of the girls in thumbnail format versus scrooling the pictur by picture - very time consuming).

The only flaws I found, although minor, are: 1) the attendant's pictures need to be sorted in alphabetical order; and 2) I miss the 2 & 3 week schedules.

PizdaBol: The alphacare website is bush league - as high waulity as the spa itself. I assume this "new' one is better then the old one so who would pay for something like that where a computer and a webpage class could allow anybody to create a better site.

Good sites have to be functional first and foremost while still being attactive. Screw all this flash stuff, or stuff with popups, etc. Designers need to apply the KISS rule (Keep It Simple Stupid!) - if I can't get to where I want to go in 1 or 2 sublinks that load fast I don't want to vist that site.

And yes CUJO, Cameron is an extremely beautiful and pleasant women whose company is well worth the money spent.

The best completed flash site that I have seen is Hollywood Escorts. I would like to learn flash because then the pics are generally safe, but I just can't grasp flash and I have learnt the hard way that guys like it simple.. that's why I kept the menu in the same place as it was on the old site and in the same order. I am going to arrange the staff page in alphabetical order though for sure.

On the schedule page, it is cleaver the way the girls picture pops up when you mouse over camera icon, then poof, it is gone. Could the pop up not be off to the side of the schedule so it does not have to be moved to see the schedule? Or the girls pic and description could be popped up within the page, on the left side of the schedule.

It will manually move.. but I can't make it automatically pop up specifically in an area.. it's set to pop up in the middle. If you move it with your mouse to the top corner.. it will stay open as you scroll over each girls camera image and the pics will show. If you click on the little window inside.. it will close. If you click anywhere on the page besides the little window.. it disappears.. I like it that it does that.. cause guys may go off the page.. if their wife comes along.. and here is this little pop up window of cameron's ass..lol.. wouldn't be good.


All the girls on the schedule and staff page are now in alphabetical order.

I am not familiar with website design, is "flash" just a program for creating websites, and what is meant by "the pics are generally safe"? What is being used now? When you say you learned the hard way to keep it simple, do you mean you saw a drop in business or did people just express their displeasure? I hope this barrage of questions isn't alarming; I am just curious. Thanks.

I have an old Flash 4 primer I'd be happy to loan you, Kayla. I downloaded the program for a test 30 day period and semi-learned it. But I had just learned PSP7 as well and was on overload.

Flash is like most puter programs. The learning curve is steep, picky and frustrating at first, but flattens out greatly after the first painful couple of weeks.

Most of the concepts are similar to PSP7, but the art is less complicated and there is the '4th dimension' temporal element. But it's all fairly straightforward.

The only Flash site I like right now is Hollywood. The site manages to avoid the chronic Flash difficulty of long load times and integrates the Flash stuff pretty well into the page. The only problem is that you cannot download the girls' photos for 'home study' - an activity that I find both enjoyable and helpful.

For the newby, Flash is the 'movie-like' graphics program you find on some sites. (Again check the HE site for a good example.) It's quite distinct from the 'static' websites based on html and web graphics files based around .jpegs and .gifs.

Hi Kayla,

The new site looks great. The old site was pretty damn good too. At the end of the day, what makes a website sing is smart use of technology (ie. don't load it up with so many bells and whistles that it takes forever to load), and even more importantly, the information and pictures that are featured and keeping it fresh. You have hit the nail on all. Great job!

For some reason though, the new site is a little slower than the old one. Maybe my Mac is the problem as it quite often can be. But it's worth surfing HFH anyway.

.. keeping the pics safe means that in a flash site you can make it so that it is more difficult for others to save your pics or take them off the web site.

.. I learned the hard way to keep it simple.. not through experience with hands from heaven, but through experience with my review board and changes that I had done to that.

.. I use Adobe and Macromedia to create my pics and sites.

I'm sorry for not having a chance to meet you. I learned to create web pages back in '99 when I became frustrated trying to get the text in my personal page to align right beside my photograph. From that point, I learned html and dhtml and began creating my web pages on notepad. Eventually I found Macromedia Dreamweaver and that automated the process.

Interestingly, I was checking the HFH website at the time it was renewed. It was an exciting feeling looking through and suddenly being presented with the grand opening of the new HFH website.

Kayla, you did a great job in transforming the site and it looks and functions very well. I like the neat drop down menu on the staff pages and the main page is perfect!

Had to leave the massageplanet.net party earlier that night, sorry I didn't get to meet you and the HFH gals... see you at the HFH anniversary party. Keep up the good job!
