Hi,Can anybody advise me please.
I am 35 years young with very bad back.
Mri scan has revealed dehydrated L4/5 disc.
I also have sciatica =left hand side.My body is twisted and I feel If I cannot get right treatment my mind will also go like that.
I can do Reiki on 1st degree level.I have had reflexology,accupressure,accupunture,oesteopathy,chiropractor,bowen and tried swimming to help myself.All with not much sucess.
PLEASE,IS THERE ANYBODY OUT THERE WHO CAN HELP/ADVISE ME

If it helps I am taking tramodol for pain relief,but do not like.
Also I believe I also have some emotional issues too which may be stopping/not helping healing process.My father died recently of bladder cancer and I was very close to him.I never had chance to say how much I loved him b4 he passed away.

I have seen two cases of sciatica very much improved - pain from 8/10 down to1/10 and from7/10 to zero, this weekend, both using a combination of spinal application of essential oils at T1-C1 and L1-S4. The specific oils were dependant on the individaul case history taken at the time, as both had different stories, and secondary issues, thereby requiring different oils. As yet I cannot tell you how long the effect lasted, however, I can say that it was at least a week for each case after a singlesession. ( having spent the week with both cases ).

Also, whilst it may be too soon, as I believe the grieving process is hugely important, time line can help dramatically with the emotional issues involved here.

So yes, there are therapies out there that can help.

I read your story with interest. You seem to be a bit on the young side to have dehydrated discs,although your area of back pain is very common. Often when there is acute and chronic back pain the boby protects itself by tightening up all the muscle groups causing a kinking of the body. Often a short cource of massage,and appropriate stretching techniques will put this right, ther are several exercises that can be done to help eleviate the pain and mobilse the joints. this will also help your sciatic symptoms.I don't know where you are in the country but i would be happy to see you for an assessment if you are anywhere near shropshire.
