HK/AB closed at 3?

On one of my recent trips one of the restroom attendants at AB told me they were going to close at 6am. I didn't believe him and I wasn't going to stay that long to find out. I went on a weekday.

That same night at close to 2am I was exiting the HK hotel coming from a session and it seemed that they were getting ready to close the hotel and it seemed that everyone was ready to call it a day. There were taxi cabs parked everywhere. But there were still people inside HK. The real question is can you still take a girl upstairs as long as HK/AB are still open?

The bars must close at 3 by law. Most are just closing their doors and letting the people inside continue on. I think they are getting a bit lax....but someone is going to get busted soon I believe.

It's been a while since my last visit. I guess the 3AM close time is variable. I went down a late this evening and wanted to leave at 3 to get back to LA to take a nap before going to work today. At about 330 I realized it was getting late. I asked one of the door people and they said they would be open to 6 or 7. Walked over to AB from HK, the door was closed but when someone came out, they were still packed inside and asked if I wanted to go in. Does anyone know if this is the new trend or if it just for this weekend?
