So it is confirmed that HLH is under new management and there will be some changes. Lower prices for drinks and overnight rooms are rumored. Also, if I am understanding correctly, there will no longer be set pricing or schedules for chicas. Rooms will be rented out, but it will be up to you and the chica to negotiate everything else. More like a SL concept with short term rooms.
Does anyone know if this is accurate? I, for one, like the straight forward pricing, albiet occassional request for propina. It's a nice, cheap daytime option.
What are everyone's thoughts on this?

Aside from the new manager and possibly lower beer prices from one report, the rest of that is just rumor right now. Currently it still appears the same practices are in place.

It wouldn't surprise though if HLH switched to that kind of model that you mentioned. They were skating on a very fine line with the fixed rate AND paying at the front desk, the line between a pension and an outright brothel.

I spoke wiht the owner yesterday. Right now, nothing has changed including alcohol pricing. He is considering and working on several things. I will suggest to him to post the actual changes when they happen to avoid confusion.

They should try to adopt some kind of hybrid model. If there is no schedule the supply of girls will be uneven. And they can have "pricing guidelines" within which the girls need to provide service - otherwise there is an inflationary effect. If they are just another SL they will lose out. They need to draw the best from both worlds IMHO.

The idea of having to negotiate price with a chica would kill the appeal for me. One part of the MP experience that I enjoy is the lack of haggling over price which I always find to be something of a turnoff with indies.

Hola Gentlemen:

Whoever is doing the talking to the new owner or new management, please SELL the idea of lower prices on drinks. I believe the girls are ok there but find myself leaving there earlier than I want to simply because I don't wanna drink there. Lower drinking prices will ABSOLUTELY bring more of a crowd and increase revenues quickly for everyone on staff. Think about it, people wanna hang longer, drink more, and feel more loose in pulling the trigger. I mean, how many times have you pulled the trigger and went with a girl that you normally wouldn't have simply because you had a drink or two above your limit? People tip the bartender more, they will have larger tabs, and the girls will deal with more drunk dudes who are easy prey. What's easier than a horny dude? A drunk horny dude.

Just my opinion. But whoever talks, PLEASE sell the idea.
