Holiday Gifts For MTs

I have really appreciated the thread on holiday gift ideas for clients . . .

Now my daughter and family have asked ME to give them some Christmas hints on items that I could use as a massage therapist in my home massage clinic/office.

Besides the usual wish list of books, DVDs etc. -- I have found two websites with some really fun items for massage therapists (mousepads, office decor, clothing, mugs, Christmas tree ornaments, prints and postors (framed and unframed), license plate holders, bumper stickers . . . and other unusual items.)

I was really enjoying reading the ones at massageplanetePress until I got to the ones that were quite offensive ( MTs "do it" on the table, quite a few about happy endings, erotic massage etc.......)

It's really too bad that they had to include ones like those.

Ok, back to the good part......they do have lots of great designs for massage therapists.

I've been stewing over this all night but I think that I will (not today, no time but tomorrow) contact massageplanetePress to let them know just how offensive some of their products are to massage therapists. Perhaps they are unaware that we dislike being compared to prostitutes?????

I had no idea there were any distasteful items at massageplanetepress -- I just hopped around the sight and saw some of the cuter ones and then actually spent more time at the other site I mentioned. I just checked the massageplanetepress website again and it looks like they will now be getting a very sincere e-mail rather than any of my holiday business!

Thanks for the justhands website, makingachange and ego -- it's great!

Again, my sincere apologies -- but perhaps if we confront them they will change their policies if they want to receive legit MT business!

It's not massageplanetePress themselves that decides these are "massage"-related products. The individual sellers eforum.xxx their items with keywords. If the sellers whose products we don't like decide to use massage as a keyword, well, their products will come up in that search. So if you did buy products you do like, yes CP will make money, but so will the seller you like.

Honestly, I'm just happy that sooo many of the items were legit.
