Can anyone recommend what and where to get a good e-stim machine for home use? I have a friend who is looking for one. She wants a more professional-quality machine.

You're near Dallas, so you could call Parker Chiropractic College and ask if you can get a link to whatever they use as a paper to advertise used equipment. Many times DC's who are upgrading or going out of practice will advertise with school papers. That may be a good option.

Mettler Electronics usually has simple items which are easy to learn and use.

Since e-stim is outside our scope of practice, I recommend that you refer this friend to a medical professional (PT or chiro or appropriate school) for guidance. Give her some contact info and/or web sites, then wash your hands of it.

That probably depends on where you are. In Utah, it's included under our license.

I think it's okay under ours here in TX too, but all my friend wants is a resource to buy the machine anyway-- she doesn't want me to apply treatment or sell one to her. And I did ask a local chiro about it, and he gave me a web site, which I did pass on to her. Thanks.
