I live in Shenzhen, been here over 4 years. 500 rmb? Crazy. I never pay more than 150 for short time. I'm a white guy, sometimes they ask for 250-300 I just walk away. I normally go to the Guomao metro station then walk to the village. My chinese friends pay 100-150, foreigners rarely can get cheaper than 150, in my experience anyway.

it's quite safe, but sanitary conditions vary. some of the alley houses have a better condition. The biggest danger you're in is getting bad service or having the girl try to scam. When there is a cop scare, the barbershops usually just shut the steel roll-down doors and there are no pink/purple lights on.

Depends on where you are staying. But the general rule of thumb is that if you wander alone around hotels especially in darker corners the pimps will hand you cards which you can use to call WLs to your hotel. Other than that the BBS, massage places and KTV all require basic Mandarin in order to navigate.

My favorite is behind SEIBU building, but I don't know the street names. I think this is the one a block from Guo Mao. tons of 'barber shops' sometimes total stunners, Oh I miss shenzhen!

Mumianwan used to be the place to go. One time one hit was 150 RMB

But now right near immigration, Go next to the Best Western Felicity Hotel, or outside the revolving....Shangrila....night time..

All night...no more than 600RMB .Bargain hard with the Mamasan and tell her exactly in the way of service you want

I can confirm that location 1 & 2 are in fact inside Shenzhen and you do need visas to enter there, I myself are from sweden (A chinese born here) and i do need visa everytime i go to the Mainland. That´s what they call china from HK, because Hk is a tourism needing city they will giva all ppl visiting there 3 months of stay just for entering.

As long as you need to pass the places like Lo Wu or Lok Ma Chau or the new open borderstation i don´t know the name of or forgot, you need visa and the costs of the visa is different on every country. You can get a temp. 7 day visa at the Lo Wu Borderstation thats what i did for once in 6 or 7 years ago and that costed me a 100 RMB it´s propably more now. (Much more)

A Question about Location 2 ? Do you know the sex villages name itself ? cause there´s a lot of villages along that road, is it Shazui Village i´ve been there and it´s rumoured to be the biggest sex village in Shenzhen in the late 90´s to the early 00´s.

Location 1 - Hooker Alley (Jiabin Road/Dongmen Nan Road) Lo Wu Station side from HK MTR transfer to SZM and get off at Guo Mao Station
Location 2 - Sex Village (Shazui Road/Fuqiang Road) Lok Ma Chau Station side from HK MTR (I havent been there yet)
Location 3- Dodgy location (Renmin Nan Road/Jianshe Road) very close to Lo Wu Station side from HK MTR, takes less then 5 mins walk. (I went there but didnt try anything MMS/PPS trying to find me a girl)
There is probably more but I just dont know of.
