Hospital work! What is your experience?

I have an opportunity to work in a hospital setting, cancer center to be exact.  For those of you that do or have worked is such a setting.   Were you an employee or an independent contractor.  What was your pay, were there benefits ?  How many hours did you work.   In Ohio, I am currently making between $50.00 to 65.00 per hour as a private business but it is not always booked.  I would appreciate any input you have.  I am thinking around $35.00 to 40.00  per hour for the hospital work, it would be 2 six hour days working with the treatment center, raditation and chemotherapy patients before or after their treatments, most of it would be chair massage.I would have no overhead which is a big plus.Again, anything you can share with me would be welcomed.George

Hi there,I have a friend who works in a hospital setting.  She is a IC.  Makes $40/hr. works 4 days a week.  They pay all advertising, marketing, supplies.  No overhead for her.  She is actually booked solid.  I don't know how she does 8 hours straight of massage four days a week.  but she loves it.

DMBJThank you.  Can you tell me the city, state and how long has she worked at the hospital.  So at 40.00 I am in the ball park at least, depending on what part of the country she works.Thanks...George
