Well, if she is going thru the "change" (menopause) then there may not be a whole lot you can do as a therapist. However, if you do find out anything, be sure to update. I am at the beginning of my "change" and I experience hot-flashes daily...some days are better than others but just in the past week, I started to notice that they were becoming less intense. I had started taken a women's multi-vitamin and black-cohosh which helps to alleviate some of the sypmtoms of menopause. If she is having a flash while you are working on her... offer her a cool rag or maybe some ice placed at the back of the neck. These are just from my personal experience and talking to a few others. Don't know about any specific modalities...but like I said...if you do hear of something, post it. Hope this helps! P.S. Even if she doesn't think she is going thru this...due to her age being young...it can happen at anytime so suggest she find out from family members who have already gone thru it, what their age was. I thought I had another 10 years before any of this...I just turned 40 and even that is considered early for some...JoJo
