Normally, that happened in those country side hotel ranked 3 stars or even poor.In Shanghai, they usually dont call in but waiting for your call( you can refer to the hair saloon tel in hotel dictory. As for the cost and service, it depends on what hotel you take.

I have heard of many times when people get a phone call in their hotel rooms, normally nice hotels as far as the stories I have heard, but I haven't seen anyone else mentioning this on the site. Can anyone tell me if they have any experiance with this type of service, where you get a call in your room, and they want to know if you want to "play"? I was wondering about cost, how often this happens, service, etc...
