The G18 thread has been bouncing back and forth a bit between G18 and the Wave, and got a bit confusing. Is G18 still in normal business operations? I had the impression that most places are only doing foot massage.

Follow Wulimiqi the OTHER way - across the freeway. Cab drivers can never find it. It's in the first or second block of wulumuqi on the other side.

Thank you very much JW510, I will stick with Golden 18 then. Stay in Suzhou right now, before they do have the "spa" service just like Golden 18, this time only offer foot massage, will go to Shanghai this Friday.

You may find it a 'tad' local for your taste, maybe better sticking with some of the international chains. Also, the service they have is sometimes on, sometimes off so I wouldn't choose it just based upon the factthat they sometimes have extras in the sauna. Also, if you choose somewhere like the Hilton, there are a row of bars opposit the hotel on Huashan Lu and there are often street girls there who you can get for good money. Don't get into conversations with the papasans so, they will rob you blind!

Thanks you guys, search the web and I will stay at the Shaghai Hotel on the same street with the Golden 18, heard they also have action in the hotel as well.

Nanjing Xi Lu is West Nanjing Road.
Just avoid the Motel 168's, if you are looking for a budget hotel.
I have never had a good experience in a Motel 168.

Closest to Golden 18 is The Equatorial or Hilton but to be more in the middle of the action, try anything along Nanjing Xi Lu. The Portman is great but expensive but there are some lower budget hotels neaby and you are also close then to Malones and Manhattans if you pefer some take away
