Hourly rates differ - sharing with another MT

I am contemplating sharing a space in a health club with another MT who has been there for five years and charges less than I do. This will be my alternate location (my primary office is in another state). I plan on paying her a perceneforum.xxxe in lieu of rent.

She charges $15 less than I do for a 1 hour massage. How do I justify charging my normal rate?

I am trying to slowly build a client base, some of whom will come from the health club, but others will be coming from the local area.

Any suggestions?

Don't bother to justify it. "This is my rate" with a smile! If asked, you could say that this is and has been your rate at the other place, and you can't justify giving such a huge discount to only those who have *not* been with you all along.

Have you talked to her about her considering to raise her own rates? Maybe it's time and this will give her a good reason to do so.

I intend to speak to the other therapist about this. She actually was considering leaving completely since she got a different type of job for health benefits. She also mentioned being able to do see clients at her home if she were to leave the health club.

Having said this, maybe raising her fees will benefit her since she also has the option to see people at her home (and maintain her current rate if she chooses).
