7 years ago went to Samui and had my GF 50th b/day lunch in the Cliff Bar & Grill on the top of the hill between Chaewang & Lami. They had similar sort of music playing during the day and afternoon and then a DJ in the cocktail bar in the evening playing similar.

This sort of music tends to bring a much more relaxed crowd of people into a place and makes much more enjoyable time without being intrusive on your enjoyment. Will have to visit next time I am over.
Menu looks pretty good so I take it the food is very good, is a shame I did not know about before as have only been back for 4 weeks since visiting Phuket

Make sure you pay a visit next time and say hello. Great place to hang out but not a pick up joint for working gals.
