How Can I Become A Licensed Massage Therapist and Still Go To College For

Something Else? So I'm currently a sophomore (16 years old) and ppl told me that I massage really good and should become a massage therapist. My brother said that I can get that kind of job right after completing high school. Being a massage therapist isn't what I wanted to be when ever since I can remember -ppl just told that I should be one and I'm currently considering that. But I wanna know can I still go to college for something else (I sing and I wanna have a degree in music either become a professional singer or teach music) and STILL become a massage therapist??? Basically massage therapy isn't my aspiration, it's just something I wanna have right after graduating school. What should I do?

Listen to what other people tell you, but only consider what they are saying, don't let their thoughts make your decision for you. You can do both things. Massage therapy only takes two years to complete (as far as I am aware) so you can do your four year degree afterwards. It is a lot of schooling, but while you are in school for your music degree, you can use your massage therapy to make money. You'd just have to market yourself. I'd recommend buying your own table and equipment so you could work out of your own home.
