How can I introduce 4 kittens to 2 ferrets?

I have 2 ferrets, not sure the age but older, and 4 8 wk old kittens, how can I introduce them without any of them getting hurt?

Hi jenn if your ferrets are tame they should get along fine i had three cats and a ferret witch got along great .... Cats and ferrets do very well together just stay close when introducing them and should be done outside of there cage ....Good luck

heh that's a really hard question to be honest, your best bet though would be to put the ferrets or kittens separately in a cat carrier so there is minimal contact but there is some, do not, I repeat for the sake of your kittens put them straight in together. after they have been around one an other maybe put 1 ferret and 1 kitten in a area which you can watch and intervene in case anything bad does happen, you want to be careful with this so take your time introducing them.

There's no real method to it- the kittens are small and young, and since the ferrets are older, I would just plop them all in a room and let them at it. They'll probably squabble until they have it figured out, but kittens and ferrets are fairly equal in strength so no one will kill each other or anything. Most kittens raised around ferrets will turn into fun cats that love to play and act ferrety! =)
