How can I introduce my boyfriend to my parents and get them used to the

idea that i'm growing up? So, i met this guy about 4 months ago and he's really great. Actually, he's my boyfriend now I absolutely adore him and i'm glad that i found someone like his cos he makes me happy and forget the all the shit that i went through last year.

But the thing is, i still haven't introduced him to my parents. They are pretty strict people and when i tell them that i am going to meet him, they get angry with me and sometimes, don't speak to me. It really upsets me cos i want him to get along with them and for him to be able to come to my house and feel like people, other than me, want him there.

So, i don't know what to do. He's a lovely guy, red hair, nice clothes and stuff. He does have several tattoos which my parents may have trouble accepting.

I have the opportunity for him to meet them tonight but I'm pretty scared actually - scared that they will dislike him
I want to carry on seeing him but i'd like their approval. And also, i daren't even tell them that i'm meeting him, let alone let them meet him.

Any advice please? Thanks

Depending on how strict your parents are, you might want to tell him how to act during that night. Oh, and tell him to where a shirt that can cover the tattoos
