questions? In my screenplay, the protagonist meets up with a team, but I'm not sure how to introduce them. I'm afraid that if I do it all at once it'll be too overwhelming. Including the protagonist there are six members to the team.
The team is assembled before the protagonist becomes a member. He's like the last piece of the team to complete it.
I don't want to overwhelm the reader with characters, but if I remove characters, certain elements are removed from the team.
Also, if I need to, how do I refer to the team as a group in the script? Like how do I refer to all the character's at once?
If a scene takes place in outer space, say Earth's orbit, how would I write the slugline? Would "EXT. EARTH'S ORBIT - SPACE" work?
I'm wondering if my Sci-Fi Epic would be easy to sell, or should I wait until I've sold several other's first. I've developed an extensive universe and I don't want it to go to waste.
And how am I supposed to get an agent? I've read that most studios won't buy scripts unless I have an agent, but most agents won't represent me unless I have screenwriting credits. Isn't that like a paradox?
