How do I become a Masseuse/Massage Therapist?

I live in Oklahoma and I wish to pursue becoming a Massage Therapist after I finish High School which will be this year. I know you have to Earn a High School Diploma, Earn a Therapeutic Massage Certificate, Earn a License, Earn a Therapeutic Massage Associate's Degree but I don't know how to go about getting any of this (well except the High School Diploma).


So how do I Earn a Therapeutic Massage Certificate and where?
How and where do I get the license?
The how do I go about getting a Therapeutic Massage Associate's Degree?
Last Question how long will all of this take?
One more question what would a Massage Therapist be as a major in college?

Hopefully there is either a local college that provides an education in massage therapy or there is a school specifically dedicated to the field. Sometimes programs like these will offer financial assistance or allow you to work in the student clinic to pay off your debt.

A massage therapy program shouldn't take longer than two years. The average takes about a year, I think. It depends on the school that you choose to attend.
