How do I best introduce our new dog?

We will be bringing home our rescue pup on Friday. Our 7 year old Shih Tzu has not meet him yet as she can not tolerate car rides. What are some ways to best introduce them and keep her as stress free as possible.

She has been around my sisters' Greyhound and Schnauzer with little to no issues and they play nicely. However they are all adult dogs. She is use to our three children and has grown up playing with them.
