how do i introduce a dog and a puppy?

ok well, now that my puppy has all her vaccinations i think she can go near my cousins dog is that ok? if it is, how do i introduce them with out any fighting or anything? and they have never seen each other or anything and there dog is a maltese and my puppy is a maltese x poodle

Well its best to introduce them on nuetral territory, and be calm! they pick up on your stress. A adult dog could snap at a puppy, but thats because some puppies are in-your-face and get too close. But even if they do snap at eachother, calmly reintroduce them after they calm down so they remember socializing calmly and remember eachother with pleasant experiences.

Make sure your introducing them in a neutral territory. Also, make sure they are both on a leash so that you have control. And just take things slow. Let them see each other from more of a distance at first then slowly let them get closer. If things start looking nasty you can pull back. Just make sure both you and your cousin stay calm and talk constantly to the dogs. If they're doing well, then give them treats to try to encourage the good behavior.
