How do I introduce a new pup to my dominant female gsd?

I'm getting a new puppy in a few months. I have a 4 year old dominant female German shepherd dog. She has never started or looked for fights with other dogs. If another dog gets in her face she will get annoyed and "pin" them. She has never hurt them though. I was wondering if any one has any advice on a good introduction. When I first adopted her she was great with my parents dogs. They were polite when they met her.... I know the puppy will be crazy(working line gsd pup) and probably try and jump all over her.

The best advice for getting a second dog is to get one of the opposite sex of the first dog, and make sure it will be noticeably larger or smaller than the first dog when fully grown. Also, learn how to maintain a 2-dog household so that fights are few and far between and know what to do when fights do occur. It is also important to realize that the older dog may become significantly depressed, feeling as though it has been replaced by the puppy and lost all of its possessions, as well as your love. If you know all of these things (which you didn't ask about so I didn't describe) and are OK with how the new pup may affect the older female, then you can just bring the puppy home because you'll be ready to handle it all.
