How do i introduce boyfriend to mom?

I admit when you first meet him you would think that he's a point blank thug because he's from Brooklyn Ny, light skin, with black hair and the top like a orangish red color and Tattoo's all over but if you get to know him he's a sweet heart! Like literally when I first met him he kept stairing at me waving and I was being shy and ignored him and he kept bugging me, so he finally like after like week of doing this he grabbed my hand and introduced himself, gave me his number, then kissed my hand an walked away. It literally felt unreal, we've been going out 3 months and I want to bring him home to meet my mom but I'm nervous because she is VERY judgemental everydude I ever bring her she says looks like a "dirty boy" until she gets to know them and then she'll be nice or unless they are uptight and nerdy then she'll make fun of them. I'm 19 and he's 21.....advice!!!
