Hello :)
I'm leaving for Chicago in 4 days and taking my birds with me. I'm staying with family for 2 months there. I am taking my 2 yr old Quaker named Paulie and my 2 month old Sun Conure named Lolita. My concern is my family owns a dog named Sammy, he's about 5 or 6 yrs old. He's adorable but very energetic (loves to jump on ppl in excitement) the last time I was there I didn't take my birds and spent time with him. I took him out to walk and he always chased after squirrels and birds. Now, you see where I'm going... Both my birds roam freely around the house and the only time they're caged is to eat and sleep. My concern is Sammy chasing after my two birds. I don't want to have them caged for 2 months and I doubt my family will want to have Sammy locked in a room. Is there a way they can get along? :-(
