How do I introduce my pitbull to new people?

My aunt has a pitbull whom I see regularly. His name is Buddy and he's really sweet and loving to me but I'm not so sure how he is around other people. My aunt says that he's fine around other people and I've never heard of a bad encounter with him and someone else. In fact, I even went into Petco with him once and he was very well behaved. He was scared as all get but he never bit anyone even when others came around him and gave him a treat. But.... he has a HUGE problem with other dogs. It's odd because he lives with two other dogs and they play with each other all the time. But my aunt has to take him to the dog park at night because he is so ill-behaved around other dogs. There was even an unfortunate event where the other dog died when Buddy attacked him. From what I gathered it wasn't bloody. The dog had a heart attack from the stress.

Anyways, I'm afraid that even though he's good with people, I'm just worried that his aggression with other dogs might channel when I introduce him to some friends. I'm going to go run with them in the morning, and I'm taking Buddy with me. I just want the best and safest way to introduce him to them. Any ideas?

Dog aggression and Human aggression are 2 completely different things!
Pit Bull's are dog aggressive he may get along with your aunts other dog's but not dog's outside his home.
Pit Bull's aren't supposed to be HA and if he's never shown any aggression towards people then I wouldn't worry about it.

if he is fine with people then i wouldnt worry. maybe just tell whoever is new to meet him to just be slow and let him sniff them so he doesnt get spooked. I have 2 pits and they love all people and other dogs. ive never had a problem with that but i always tell people not to just run up to them and pet them, they need to let my dogs sniff there hands first so they dont get spooked by people just running up to them
