I am getting contacted by strangers in a pop up Yahoo chat window that never go away. I do not want to connect with these weirdos and want to disable the pop up window. How do I do that?
 
You might have to change your profile settings. If you can go to pulse.yahoo.com, you can "hide" your profile there. You can find this page easier if you actually post a comment on an article, and then click on your screen name and there are options in the Profile section on the left side of the screen. This should do it.
