How do we know which MPs and MPAs have a no review policy?

No, but maybe someone should put together a list of the posts asking if there is an NRP list.

I know, why doesn't every MPA have a no review policy.

That would make it easy, and of course, no more massageplanet.net either.

To me, it is ABSURD that any MP, or MPA would be able to demand (and GET) a no review policy.

This is a new one on me.

I agree, the NRP sucks, lets say you are a dump, give bad service, don't care about the client at all, just rub, jug, get the cash, next please, BUT you always have that NRP in place, good deal for them huh

NRP is not designed to protect shoddy or poor business practices, should such person or business get a flow of negative posts, all the past negative posts will be released. as stated in the NRP sticky http://www.massageplanet.net.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=126032

EDIT ok I just reread that sticky and it doesnt say what I thought it did. it may have changed or perhaps I saw that in another post by mods.

NRP is a protection policy, not a sheild to hide behind if your going to rip people off

I wasn't asking about the purpose of having a NRP.

I was wondering how we are suppossed to know about it when there isn't a clear list of which MP's and MPA's are included. Newbies to the board would be extremely confused.

Well since a sticky hasn't been created it's mainly word of mouth. I guess the mods will monitor the reviews and remove them.

Yeah, it is confusing, but if you're unsure and don't want to break the rule unknowingly, or waste typing a long post only to have it yanked, then maybe you can post an advisory post:

"I would like to review MPA x from MP y, but I am not sure if either fall under the NRP" ... anyone know for sure?"

If someone replies that they are covered by the NRP, or if the Admins yank that post, then you can be pretty sure that you shouldn't post your review.

If that post does get yanked, then there is still a chance that PMs can come into play to spread your information (I'd suggest that when releasing information via PM you only do so to those you can verify have a posting and contribution history that gives you a level of confidence in the requester being who they claim to be; an interested and legitimate hobbyist, and not some LE, creep, or total leach.

If you use a service than you are allowed to comment on what you experienced massage wise or with anything in the real world. If a MPA doesn't want you to comment than she probally isn't worth going to. I understand completely a MPA not wanting certain aspects of a session spoke about but a simple good/bad and repeat/no repeat should be allowed on any attentant. Isn't that the whole point of this board so we don't get ripped off?

The anti NRP people are missing the point here. In the case of the spa with the NRP and the four MPAs that I can think of with NRPs..... they are all of high quality.

The spa in question is trying to avoid hassles from bylaw/LE, yet they have some of the best looking girls who are as good as any of the other tops spas.

As for the 4 MPAs well, I've seen 3 of them and the other I've heard about. Usually they have requested the NRP because discussions about them degenerate into something else. It usually turns ugly and personal. In these cases it's usually guys who like the MPAs arguing with guys who've had a bad experience with her. Usually in these caes the detractors are the minority but they tend to be the loudest. What it creates is an unfair picture because in truth I think the MPAs in question with NRPs are all pretty good.

So from my experience I know of one spa and three MPAs that have NRPs but have not used them to hide any defficiencies.

To give you all a list of who is on the NRP will skew the results. We need honest reviews in order to judge who is B&S or a rip off before we rescind a NRP and put them back.

As Frankcastle mentioned, the vast majority of those on the NRP are there for a legit reason, sometimes its too with assholes shooting their mouths off and sometimes its to do with their own protection. The few that are not on the list for legit reasons are there because of FredZed's own choosing. Sometimes it's to do with threats and sometimes its just plain fed up with the constant whining.

Why not post this list of mpas with nrp so we can continue on with our usual reviews without any risk ???
