The old days I used to get mad or seek revenge. Or will dwell on them and will hold a grudge. No I just let it slide and figure it is part of life.

How do you guys handle it now that you are older. or is there still those that cannot shake it off?.

If I knew all of this when i was younger it would have saved me a lot of hassles. Experience is the key just don't make the same mistake twice.

Well, being self employed I run into quite a few setbacks...now? I just say "wtf" and carry on....nothing I can do about it.

Shit happens.

I hit a rough patch when a customer was dragging their ass paying for me (they decided at the last minute the agreed to terms didn't apply). I was so short I was counting loonies out of my change jar. I went to my mail box and whoop, there's a rebate cheque I forgot I applied for, $70.00 in my pocket. It carryed me for the 10 days until the customer paid up.

Then I realized, over the years whenever anything looked grim, something always happened to get me back on the upswing. I learned that as long as you keep plugging away, usually things work out so not to get upset about it.......

Now there are some things I WILL not abide by: someone callling me a liar, or disrespecting me, or insulting my intelligence (seriously, not jokingly). You do any of those and you've got a BIG problem on your hands.....

Then on the other hand there are those like me at times in my youth who assumed and expected it to happen. I would get all high and tell my friends what was about to happen. Then it didn't.

Moral of the story is STFU until it happens.
