How do you introduce pet rats to a new cage?

I'm getting a bigger cage for my boys and I'd just like to know what to expect. Should I introduce them slowly or move their stuff into the new cage and just force them to accept that this is their new home? Will this stress them out?
 
I have moved my rats many times and they were fine. Actually they seemed excited to be in a new house.
 
i just do it when i move my rats. they run around for a couple hours with curiosity but they settle down and figure it all out like where all their stuff is they take to it pretty quickly. they will probably mark their territory and everything but its fine.
 
If you put all their stuff into the new cage and then place them into it they should be fine. That's what I do with my rats. They can get stressed out which could cause porphryn, as I'm sure you already know. Also the scent will be different so if they sneeze more than usual don't be alarmed, they just have to get readjusted to the cage and all it's new smells. They also might sleep more from being "stressed" out about the move. =)

Anyway, I'm sure if you have their stuff in there they will be fine because they can smell it's their stuff.
