How does Singapore's "have three or more" policy work, and what are its

advantages and disadvantages? Part of my geography homework is to find out about the "have three or more" policy. I've googled all the points I'm supposed to find out, but can't find much information...
If anyone knows the above, i'd be grateful :D and I need a little more information on why the policy is needed. Thanks :D

Our fertility rate is really low- you can google that. So its basically to boost the population growth. Which is ridiculous cuz our country is tiny and we cant support any more people! There's no land!
