Question How many of you have thought about sting operations?

I recently read a post on Reddit where the guy was worried about getting caught in a sting operation when he was trying to set up an appointment with a masseuse via text.

This got me wondering... Do sting operations happen in Toronto/Ontario/Canada?

I wonder if the recent trend in trying to get Kijiji girls to do more will get people into trouble

Exactly. I've been thru the doors of Premier, Flirt, Seduction, Muse (the latter two to a lesser degree nowadays) well over a hundred times combined in all my years hobbying and was never concerned about this

Nope, Canadian authorities and more specifically Toronto enforcement, are more concern with trafficking of minors, slave prostitution and pimping. sting operations are a thing of years gone by.

Current prostitution law in Canada makes it not worth it prosecuting Johns' since the punishment results in the equivalent of a slap in the wrist (usually a small fine)

You will find all kinds of postings of guys scared of stings and narrative of police cars in parking lots and cameras everywhere but is mostly in the mind of the subjects

I doubt a sting operation would happen at one of these businesses. No one would trust them if they allowed that to happen. I do think that henricas comment would apply here though, where if the business was pimping the girls then that would be a big problem.

I agree as well with this sentiment that the police is unlikely going to setup a sting op. but I suppose it doesn't stop anyone from reporting individual Johns from being solicited on Kijiji or catfishing them into an illegal arrangement.

Places that don't hire foreign girls like Seductions or Premiere are safe but I'd be a little more concerned about some of the Asian spa's. Pretty sure I remember reading about one in Scarborough being raided and shut down for illegal trafficking earlier this year.

fwiw I still tread pretty carefully myself. I try not to say anything incriminating at all nor respond to any service mentions directly. I'm a low mileage guy anyways but I still aim to have plausible deniability on my side in the event of a raid or check or some shit.

Nobody is raiding a spa unless it's has minors or trafficking. Most of these places have been around forever. You should be much more worried answering a sketchy LL at a hotel, not only for being arrested but also for getting robbed/assaulted.

Nobody is raiding a spa unless it's has minors or trafficking. Most of these places have been around forever. You should be much more worried answering a sketchy LL at a hotel, not only for being arrested but also for getting robbed/assaulted.

I heard that London police do sting operations once in a while. But the police in Toronto are too busy with gangs, car jackers, and people pushing strangers into subway trenches.

I agree with this satement, TO cops have plenty in their cup.
However ...
Hamilton cops prefer fully adult license shops to the cheaper kind of license, finish saying that Hamilton Is a blue color town. Not a lot of spare income for a message shop to survive.
Burlington does not care much about it, but if they get neighbors complains they always have the time to look into it.
Oakville seems to be getting more lax about, not chasing shops since the last few violations have resulted in minor fines.
Guelph has only one or two shops, nor people or cops seem to bother about them.
Milton has no shops
Cambridge - Kitchener-Waterloo has had both; Adult license and holistic shops since forever, they survive and compete with each other and coppers seem not to bother, never hear of prosecution in the tri-city area.

There was a house in Cambridge just off the 401 that had a few MILFS working there. I stopped in a few times. I had some of the best Bbbjcimsw jobs done there. All of sudden they disappeared. Obviously someone shut them down. It sure was great while it lasted. It was before Covid.
