HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?

Hiya,

I am new to this forum and although i have read through some of the posts i was wondering if someone could give me some advice.

I am recently qualified and have decided to start doing indian head massages from home, have a spare room and everything, all set up. I have had a few people enquire about having an IHM but haven't been sure what to charge them?

I am based down South in rather a posh area, anyway seeing as i am newly qualified i was thinking of charging £15 per IHM for about 35mins.

Was wondering if this sounded reasonable, in my area i have seen such varying prices, anything from £15 - £25 for 30mins.

Well first off , don't think cos its rather a posh area that they will pay hiked prices, they are tight as ducks bums,thats how they got posh ! No, go with £15.00 and they'll tell their friends,word of mouth is a mighty sword.
Also make sure you are covered by insurance, you need to contact your insurance company that covers your property explain what you want to do, because it will affect your insurance when people are coming to you, also if there is a mortgage on the property you will need to check that you can run a business from there, if rented then you need the landlords permission. You could cut costs and get your IHM insurance and go mobile. Hope this helps lyn

Hiya and thanks Lyn. I thought £15 was reasonable and thanks for the info its made me think about a few things, didn't realise working from hope was quite so problematic!

Am not far off from my driving test so may well hold off till then as i think it seems much easier to take it mobile.
